I am in Colorado!

Wow, I had a pretty good blog going and life got in the way. One of my last posts we had just moved to Texas from South Dakota. We lived in Texas for two years or two and a half years depending on what part of the family you belonged to. There was/is much I liked about Texas. We have a great house there. The ward and stake were the best I have ever been in, and we had lots of good times. Sadly, I couldn't keep a job in Texas. I was lucky to get out of HNTB before the whole tollway contract was lost only to land at Tyler in time for the Orion group to be shut down. Tyler was a wonderful place to work, but they didn't have enough work for me. They were very good to me and kept me on a long as they could. Lucky for me, I found my current job in Colorado just before time ran out with Tyler. Around the time I was changing jobs and looking at moving from Texas to Colorado, Richard was getting ready to go on a mission. He got his call to the California, Riverside mission in January not too many days before I got my job with the USGS. I left Texas the end of February and Richard left Texas the end of April. That was nearly four years ago. It's time to catch things up and get what's going on now out there. Since I am the only one who reads this, I will get into the real details. Next post, the move from Texas and starting at the USGS.
